Sometimes this is the case but not always. I've never had a competitve rate quote from e-surance, which advertises as completely online. Most people don't know exactly what type of coverage they need unless they speak to somebody directly who is trying to advise them and really get a better picture of their scenario. What I do, is advise them on what type of coverage they should have and then shop the rate for them.
